Terms and Conditions for Tattoo Services

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the provision of tattoo services by (“Studio”) to the client (“Client”). By receiving tattoo services from the Studio, the Client agrees to abide by these Terms and Conditions.

1. Appointment and Consultation:

  • 1.1 The Client must schedule an appointment for tattoo services.
  • 1.2 Prior to receiving the tattoo, the Client must participate in a consultation with the tattoo artist to discuss design, placement, size, color, and any other relevant factors.
  • 1.3 The Client agrees to provide accurate information during the consultation and to follow the artist’s recommendations.

2. Design Approval:

  • 2.1 The Client must approve the final design before the tattooing process begins.
  • 2.2 Any changes to the design after approval may result in additional charges and scheduling adjustments.

3. Health and Safety:

  • 3.1 The Client must disclose any medical conditions, allergies, or medications that may affect the tattoo process.
  • 3.2 The Studio reserves the right to refuse service if the Client’s health conditions pose a risk.
  • 3.3 The Studio adheres to strict sanitation and sterilization protocols to ensure the safety of both Client and artist.

4. Tattoo Process:

  • 4.1 The Client acknowledges that tattooing involves inherent risks, including but not limited to pain, discomfort, and the possibility of infection.
  • 4.2 The Client agrees to follow aftercare instructions provided by the Studio to promote proper healing of the tattoo.

5. Payment and Cancellation:

  • 5.1 Payment for tattoo services is due at the time of service, unless otherwise agreed upon.
  • 5.2 The Studio may require a non-refundable deposit to secure an appointment, which will be applied toward the total cost of the tattoo.
  • 5.3 The Client must provide at least 72 hours’ notice for appointment cancellations or rescheduling. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of the deposit.
  • 5.4 The Studio reserves the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to unforeseen circumstances, such as artist illness or inclement weather.

6. Ownership and Copyright:

  • 6.1 The Client acknowledges that the tattoo design is the intellectual property of the tattoo artist and/or Studio.
  • 6.2 The Client agrees not to reproduce or modify the tattoo design without the express consent of the artist and/or Studio.

7. Liability Waiver:

  • 7.1 The Client releases the Studio, its employees, and affiliates from any liability for damages, injuries, or complications arising from the tattoo services, except in cases of negligence or willful misconduct.
  • 7.2 The Client acknowledges that tattoos are permanent and that dissatisfaction with the outcome is not grounds for a refund.

8. Minors:

  • 8.1 The Studio does not provide tattoo services to individuals under the age of 18 years, even with parental consent.
  • 8.2 Any Client under the age of 18 must provide valid identification proving age.

9. Governing Law:

  • 9.1 These Terms and Conditions and any disputes arising from them shall be governed by the laws of Northern Ireland.
